Chemintro now has four cosmetic ingredient search sites:
Cosmetics SpecialChem happily finds the ingredient based on CAS number. However, to obtain the full datasheet, you need to have a registered login (which only costs you the information you hand over about yourself).
The next two, Cosmetic Ingredient Review and EC CosIng, do not permit prepared searches so the Useful links can only bring up their search pages. However, the following advice is posted into the Synopsis field.
If you do find the ingredient and paste its link into the Link URL change field, you should replace the above advice with your own synopsis of what you find.
The fourth link, EUR-Lex Cosmetics on the other hand is the reference source of the entire current European Union Law regarding cosmetic ingredients including Annexes II to VI. The following advice is inserted into the Synopsis field of the link.
Other cosmetics sites undoubtedly exist or may spring up. They can be included on request.
